Christchurch plane to Dunedin was delayed slightly but soon we were on our way to see Black Sabbath.
There had been some worry around the distance between the airport and the city but the shuttle service is really good.

We made it to our accommodation which looked like a 1960s time warp.

Room

So we set about making it more friendly.

Improved

Then we made our way to a bar called Eureka to meet up with Dale, Terry also meet up with one of his aunts.

We had some food at the pub and tried a number of the beers.
After being at the pub for around 4 hours we decided to do a quick walk around the city. We ended up checking out two other pubs and as Dale pointed out one was a cooler building and the other had better beer.

After the last pub we went to the supermarket for dinner supplies and walking to the stadium we assembled beef and cheese rolls while walking.

Really cool looking stadium on the inside.

Sound is boomy compared to Vector but not enough to detract from an awesome show.

Ozzy

Terry, Nick and Dale just before the encore.

Us

And this brings the South Island leg of the tour to a close.

Sabbath - The End

We headed back to Eureka for a couple more beers before walking back to the accommodation.

Currently sitting in Dunedin airport as the flight back to Auckland has been delayed.
I appear to have done something to my neck but onwards to the final show of our NZ leg of the tour.

Landed in Auckland and we spotted Ed Force One again.
